Which strengthens our environmental protections to ensure our natural beauty and lower density is maintained.
Leave the natural beauty in place
I propose a "non-disturbance" factor (ratio, percentage) on land development which will include all structural elements on a property (at this time swimming pools, sports courts, etc are not part of "coverage").
Affordable Housing
By establishing affordable housing, Muskoka can entice the people needed to keep our economy running and keep our residents from moving to a more affordable area. For our seasonal residents, this means being able to find service and trades people who are now in short supply.
Budgets
In my opinion one of our biggest challenges is decaying infrastructure with inadequate reserves to rebuild everything. Hard decisions need to be made to reduce our exposure.
Fiscal Accountability
The Township contribution to the District is the largest of the 6 municipalities - through co-operative discussions work to ensure the Township receives services that are considered fair.

Listen to all viewpoints, support vulnerable residents, and collaborate respectfully with Council for the benefit of our community.
